My teaching philosophy

In our reflective class today, we did an exercise (rotating wheel 60-30-15-5) to help us find the essence of our teaching philosophy. Here are the two condensed ideas that surface from that activity:
  • create life long learners
  • help children to reach the best of their abilities

Creating life long learners is the "cle de voute" of my philosophy. I want to focus on the whole child and help my students reach the very best of their abilities. I want children to explore who they are and I want to be the tool they use to reach their dreams. I based my philosophy on who I became as a learner and on what is left for me after many years of schooling.
